The ideal tilt angle of the solar panel depends on the time of day, orientation, and season. However, there is an almost perfect angle that results in near-maximum efficiency year-round. We have set this angle for you and welded it securely into the mount, so you can leave it outside all year long, both in winter and summer.
When setting up the solar panel, all you need to do is make sure it’s facing south, with nothing shading it, and that it’s at least 1.5-2 meters high. It’s also good to occasionally clean its surface to keep it from getting dusty, as this could reduce its efficiency. Thanks to its weather-resistant robust coating, it can even withstand hailstorms. For mounting, we recommend a sturdy post or steel pole with a maximum diameter of 11cm, as the set includes a 100-120mm Awab clamp. The system can be easily connected to the battery with two durable industrial terminals.

Installing the Vadalarm solar panel is incredibly simple. Just follow these steps. First, dig a 2-2.5 meter pole at least 0.5 meters deep if you haven't already. Use the provided clamps to attach the solar panel to the pole, making sure it faces south (you can further secure the installation with a screw if necessary). Finally, connect the terminals at the end of the cables to the battery (red terminal - blue wire for positive, black terminal - brown wire for negative).
Yes. Our solar panels come with a charge controller that allows you to connect multiple panels. However, make sure to connect them in parallel, not in series. For this reason, our solar panels are only suitable for charging 12V systems.
